Bio
The Rabble Rounders
Rabble Rounders was originally the name of a bluegrass band that Bill Fisher (bass, vocals) and Dave Kassel (fiddle, vocals) played in. That band broke up after a few gigs, and subsequently the Rabble Rounders name came along with Bill and Dave to be used in a new trio that included Ralph DeFlorio (guitar, harmonica, vocals). Bill, Dave and Ralph were all regular participants at an ongoing old-time jam at a community center known as 19 Carter Street in Berlin Massachusetts. Along with old-time and bluegrass, the music of this iteration of the Rabble Rounders music also includes old country, blues, and swing. After playing for some time as a trio, mandolin player Claude Galinski, also regular participant in the previously mentioned old-time jam, joined the Rabble Rounders. The Rabble Rounders are a fun acoustic band who play with good energy with the goal of lifting the collective spirit of every audience.
